Central Committee Officers 

The Your County Central Committee Officers are elected by the Your County Republican Party Central Committee.  Central Committee Officer elections are held in odd numbered years.

Central Committee

The Republican Party of Your County is governed by Central Committee Members that have been elected at their precinct caucus or appointed to fill vacancies.  Your County has 00 precincts and 2 persons from each precinct are elected at precinct caucuses held in even numbered years.  The Central Committee conducts the ongoing business of the local party and works to elect local Republican candidates.

Central Committee Meetings

Our Central Committee usually meets on the 4th (Monday) of each month at the (location).  All Your County Republicans are welcome to join us and attend our meetings.  We have a 6:30 pm Social time and our Meetings start promptly at 7:pm.   Our upcoming meeting times and dates can be viewed on the Events page of this website.

The Role of a Central Committee Member

 

  • Representation: Central Committee Members serve as elected representatives of the Republican Party within the county. They represent the interests and values of local Republicans and the work to elect Republican Officials and advance the party's overall goals.

  • Party Organization: Committee members play a key role in organizing and coordinating Republican activities within the county. This can include organizing events such as precinct caucuses, fundraisers, rallies, and candidate forums, as well as managing party resources and infrastructure.

  • Candidate Support: Members often provide support to Republicans running for elected offices.  This support may involve fundraising, volunteer recruitment, voter outreach efforts, and fostering community engagement. 

  • Election Activities: Committee members may become involved in overseeing aspects of the electoral process within the county, such as nominating Republican candidates for vacant positions, Get out the Vote (GOTV) efforts, advocating for election integrity, and serving as poll workers or poll watchers.   

  • Community Engagement: Central Committee Members engage with the local community to promote Republican values and initiatives, recruit new members to the party, and build productive relationships with other community organizations and leaders.​

Overall, being a member of a the Central Committee involves active involvement in Republican Party activities at the local level, with a focus on advancing Republican principles aligning with the party platform, supporting and electing Republican candidates, and engaging with the community to further the party's goals.
